Rich Pasture

February 25 @ 9:00 am - 3:00 pm

Venue: Sue Graham’s Farm (Approx. 4.5km ESE of Kihikihi)

This farm is evolving a hay regime from a maize growing history. The soils require considerable rebuilding through nutrient loss in order to offer best quality hay to grow healthier stock.

How do we go about it? What is needed to assess the situation and build up the nutrient rich diversity required for rich soils, rich pastures and a richer farm to produce rich outcomes? We’ll take an in depth look and show you how to apply the results to your own farm.

Please bring your own lunch.
