SUMMARY:Annual Conference: Enhancing Dairy Farm Resilience in a Changing World
DESCRIPTION:At a time of multiple challenges to farming including changing weather patterns\, fertiliser shortages and fluctuating input costs\, farmers embracing low input / regenerative systems have built-in resilience to these challenges. \n\n\n\nThis conference is an opportunity for farmers\, researchers and educators to connect\, share insights\, and discuss the latest research and on-farm innovations shaping regenerative / low impact / organic dairying. \n\n\n\nTopics include: \n\n\n\n\ntrees on farms\n\n\n\nbuilding drought resilience\n\n\n\nsoil supplements: biologicals\, effluent and compost\n\n\n\nfarm finances\n\n\n\nupdate on regenerative research projects\n\n\n\n\nThe conference will be a mix of discussions and presentations with farm visits. \n\n\n\nCatering is provided on both days with an optional evening meal on Monday 8 June. \n\n\n\nAn additional day of farm visits is also planned for Wednesday 10 June including to Gavin Fisher’s beautiful property\, renown for its trees. \n\n\n\n\nEVENT TICKETS HERE
