Happy King’s Birthday! To celebrate, we’re looking at how King Charles was an early advocate for organic farming. At the age of just 21 he gave a landmark speech on the environment, and went on to ignore critics who derided his views, adopting organic practises widely across his estates. Not only did he champion the cause of organics, but he used his influential position to give numerous speeches on climate change. While he remains steadfast in his views, his coronation marks the end of his campaigning days, but his last speech as Prince of Wales reflected his passion….
