“Nature has been around far longer than modern chemical farming practises and has a way of ensuring its own survival. It would be truly remarkable if we thought we had more wisdom than nature.”Roger & Nicki
Roger and Nicki met on the Chatham Islands and now farm on Banks Peninsula, where they have an Organic pastoral farm of 500 ha overlooking Akaroa and the Pacific Ocean. They have a very diverse range of enterprises including the imported Pitt Island sheep, suppling Organic wool for the Wyld range of woolen garments, they breed and farm Weka from the Chatham’s, they harvest Kelp for a range of health food products and local Paua are farmed for their pearl production. Roger is known for his irrepressible enthusiasm for all things organic and unique.
