Saving the Sarus Crane with Organic Farming

Sarus Cranes, once seen in great numbers in the Bhoj wetlands of India, are now in drastic decline, and the primary cause seems to be the use of pesticides in farming. The local communities, who worship the crane, have made the move to organic farming in a bid to help the fading population.
