The Woodwide Web

Back in 1997, Suzanne’s Simard’s discovery – her doctoral research subject – that trees communicated by means of mycorrhizal networks was largely dismissed at the time as a ‘hippy’ concept. Now, of course, her amazing discovery is recognised by the scientific community and has become accepted fact.

Read about how she made her discoveries, and about her new book ‘Finding the Mother Tree’ in this interesting Guardian article.

I want people to know that what I’ve discovered has been about my whole life.
