Day Two of the ODPG ‘ORGANICS Past, Present & Future Conference is Field Trip Day, and we have two fascinating field trips planned. We’ve chartered coaches and organised packed lunches for a great day out. Everyone will be split into two groups to visit the destinations, and the groups will swap venues halfway through the day.

In 1996, hundreds of tea cuttings were imported from the best tea-growing regions in Asia and 130 made it through quarantine. Today there are a million tea plants thriving over 40 hectares of land. On our tour, we’ll be looking into Zealong’s success story and the organic farming behind their tea cultivation, with a chance to sample the teas.
