Nigel is a regenerative cropping farmer who loves a challenge. He is motivated by reps and peers saying it can’t be done, and loves to prove them wrong. He’ll be speaking at the ODPG 2020 Regenerative Farming Conference about plant health for both disease suppression and human health.
Nigel’s wheat and barley crops are great examples of his farming work, regularly sweeping the awards board and beating other, conventionally-farmed, crops.
Nigel Greenwood, along with Jono Frew and Simon Osborne (all conference speakers) are an integral part of the Canterbury-based group ‘Quorum Sense’, whose mission it is to ‘generate and share practical knowledge to support regenerative farm systems and vibrant rural communities’. It’s all about finding out what works and sharing the information.
