We’re very thankful for the wonderful food producers who are helping to make our conference in early April extra-special. with delicious, organic ingredients for our attendees.
THANK YOU TO…

Bostock Brothers is New Zealand’s only organic chicken producer. Our chickens live longer, happier lives than any conventional free-range chicken.
Our chickens grow naturally on a retired apple orchard in Hawke’s Bay, and as a result, the meat is better formed, higher quality, and superior tasting.
Our flocks thrive on a wholesome diet of certified organic, lush green grass, juicy organic apples, and home-grown feed, including corn and barley.
Our chicken is air-chilled and chlorine-free, which means no chlorinated water is used to cool the meat. Consequently, there is less shrinkage and water loss during cooking.
We focus on quality, not quantity, and are committed to producing better-tasting chicken that has been nurtured from the pasture to your plate.

We started as one Hawke’s Bay farm with a mission: to make organic meat available to as many people as possible. Alongside this mission, we also wanted to encourage other farms to take up Organic Certification. People are becoming aware that organic foods are just better for you because they don’t contain any synthetic additives, growth hormones, GMOs, chemicals, or antibiotics. Simply put, you are what you eat, so it pays to know who grows your food and what it contains.
Over a decade on, we now have a group of Organic Certified farms supplying us with beef, lamb and pork. We work cooperatively to raise the best animals possible by sharing resources and knowledge of organic farming practices. For you, this means you get year round access to the best organic meat Hawke’s Bay has to offer from our retail store. With the move to becoming online butchers, we can now send meat directly to you anywhere in the country.

Friday 5th and Saturday 6th APRIL
Two Evenings and Saturday Field Trip
at the Havelock North Function Centre, Hawkes Bay
Conference Schedule
As the theme might give away there will be a lot of discussion time this year. Our sector is under increasing pressure with limited capacity for Meat processing and Dairy having major players drop out or looking to discontinue processing. What is our destiny and what can we do? Plenty to talk over.
Our event will kick off on late Friday afternoon with Registrations and then dinner, with speakers following laying the groundwork for both Saturdays Field Day and our Saturday night panel discussions. We’ll be on farm on Saturday looking at both Soil and Animal Health before returning to the function centre for the AGM, Dinner, more speakers and the Panel Discussion. There will be plenty of time to mix and mingle between planned events.
Included in your ticket is Dinner on Friday and Saturday night plus Lunch on the field trip.
