INTRODUCTION
Many ODPG farmers have been drawn to Siobhan Griffin’s workshops which incorporate insights from Allan Savory’s Holistic Management to improve grazing and livestock outcomes. Luckily, there is more to Savory’s ideas than grazing management. Often, promoters of regenerative farming principles acknowledge insights from Savory as the backbone of their ideas.
Holistic Management educator, John King, will expand on other routines and habits which bring consistency to business choices to reduce risk and lift profit while enhancing landscape function. When farmers start down this path the Savory approach offers innovative techniques and practices to explore which options are building resilience into the business.
We’re delighted to have John King from Succession, one of our Commercial Members, sharing his knowledge with everyone at the ODPG. We hope you can join us on Monday.
