The Harris’s Wickton Red Devons

Steve and Angela (ODPG Members) have farmed organically since they moved from the UK in 2007, and immediately went through the 3-year certification process, because it’s a ‘healthier way to farm’. Originally a dairy farm, the Harris’s now graze heifers from three other organic farms, as well as their own herd of Red Devon beef cattle – a breed renowned for thriving in organic conditions.

The Harris farm is big on diversity – such an important part of organic farming – and their pasture is lush and vibrant.
