4 per 1000: Regenerative Agriculture and the Climate

An annual growth rate of 0.4% in the soil carbon stocks would halt the increase in the CO2 concentration in the atmosphere related to human activities.

The aim of the 4 per 1000 initiative is to demonstrate that agriculture, and in particular agricultural soils can play a crucial role where food security and climate change are concerned.

This short film ties the water and carbon cycle to the 5 principles of Regenerative Agriculture, and the government policy to incentivise change.

The principles of Regenerative Agriculture add so much to the foundations of Organic Farming. We really can better farm to halt and potentially reverse climate change.
