With a name that conveys abundance, ‘Our Land of Milk and Honey’ is a successful long-established farm in the Waikato region. After being farmed by the family for over a century, the current owners switched to organic nine years ago. And recently they’ve started using robotics for milking. Apparently the cows have their favourite robots they like to go to, and seem calmer and happier for the change.

With greenhouse gas emissions down by 44% compared to other farms, Our Land of Milk and Honey were the proud recipients of the Transforming Food award at the NZI Sustainable Business Network Awards last month.
