It’s been an interesting journey with the conference this year.
As it was our first big conference in years, the planning started well in advance last September. All our plans centred around Hawkes Bay, only for the area to be hit by major trauma just as our tickets were about to go on sale. With a lot of hard work, a determination not to cancel, and the continuing support of our wonderful speakers and generous sponsors (see below), we managed to relocate the entire conference to a beautiful venue in Hamilton with some awesome field trips in the area. And here we are, less than a week away, with everything in place and looking great!
So firstly, thank you so much to everyone who is coming along to the conference next week. We really do appreciate your attendance and we look forward to seeing you there. We’re working behind the scenes to finalise the small details and will be sending out more information to attendees in the next couple of days.
