We’re really pleased to share Impact Hub Waikato’s very first major event, VISION 2030: Regenerate Now. The concept of regeneration goes a step further than sustainability, saying it’s not enough to be sustainable, we should be thriving! The event will focus on regeneration with the agricultural and tourism sectors at the centre of discussions and will look at how we can future-proof these industries by instigating practises that are designed to ensure a positive impact on ecosystems and communities.
How can tourism exist in a way that is beneficial to the natural environment and to society? What is regenerative farming and what benefits does it bring to the farmer? How easy is it to farm in a way that addresses soil depletion and offers carbon storage capability? Why would farmers and tourism operators adopt these new methods?
VISION 2030: Regenerate Now! brings together local industry leaders and experts, and international thought leader Anna Pollock of Conscious Travel, to discuss and showcase solutions. Come and learn, get inspired and share your perspective to help develop ideas for a New Zealand context.
